Dr. Earl Wm. Miller

Dr. Earl Wm. MillerDr. Earl Wm. Miller received his undergraduate degrees from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma, and Pittsburgh State University in Pittsburgh, Kansas. He received his dental degree in 1965 from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and served two years as a dental officer at the United States Army Primary Helicopter Training Post in Mineral Wells, Texas. Dr. and Mrs. Miller moved to South Oklahoma City in 1967, and live within five minutes of the office.

Dr. Miller has had extensive postgraduate training at the L.D. Pankey Institute for postgraduate education in Miami, Florida in complex restorative dentistry, occlusion and temporomandibular joint TMJ therapy, the University of Texas at San Antonio in osseointegration implant dentistry and many years of experience in preventive and cosmetic dentistry. He has been an instructor in occlusion and restorative dentistry at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He is a fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma State Dental Association, Oklahoma County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Roy L. Stevens received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Christian College in 1979. He received his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1983 and received postgraduate training in anesthesia and sedation at Children's Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City. In addition to his general practice, Dr. Stevens has special interest in anesthesia and sedation as well as caring for patients with special health care needs.

He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a consultant in matters pertaining to anesthesia and sedation for the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry. He serves on the Board of Directors of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and as course director for the ADSA’s continuing education courses on minimal and moderate (conscious) sedation of apprehensive and special needs dental patients. Dr. Stevens also serves as consultant in pharmacology for the National Board Dental Examination. He is certified in moderate (conscious) sedation by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry and Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association. He has had articles published in the scientific literature on anesthesia, sedation and treatment of patients with special health care needs.

Dr. Stevens served as team dentist for the Oklahoma City Blazer Hockey Club for their 17 seasons. He coached youth hockey for 14 years. Dr. Stevens is a past board member of the South Oklahoma City American Heart Association and past president of the Capitol Hill Lions Club. He is also a certified rescue scuba diver and dive master.

 

 

Dr. John W. Miller

Dr. John W. Miller is a life-long resident of South Oklahoma City, received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Christian University in 1988.  He received his dental degree in 1994 from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.  Prior to dental school, Dr. Miller was associated with the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center Department of Microbiology where he performed research studies related to dentistry and microbiology.  Dr. Miller is a member of the American Dental Association, and Oklahoma Dental Society.  Dr. Miller has served on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma component of the American Academy of General Dentistry and was the OAGD Board  President in 2000.  He is an alumni of Leadership Oklahoma City class XIX.  Dr. Miller received the South Oklahoma City Rotary Club Vocational Excellence award in 2003.  Dr. Miller lives in South Oklahoma City and has three children.  Dr. Miller enjoys many athletic activities including coaching youth teams in soccer and basketball.
